The Origen Hadean Alabaster Wall Sconce sets raw-edge slabs of natural alabaster in a hand-forged brass branch, so the stone keeps the broken edge it came out of the block with. Light passes through rather than bouncing off it, turning each slab into a slow, layered glow that carries its own veining.

Six sizes run from 10" for a narrow hallway to 26" for a stairwell or a double-height entry, and every size can be ordered as a pair. Hardwired, indoor rated, and available in warm white by default.

Every slab is split rather than cut to a template, so the silhouette of your piece exists once. Two orders of the same size do not arrive looking the same.

The branches are forged and bent by hand around each slab, so the metal reads as something that grew there rather than a bracket bolted on.

Reading the numbers	The first figure is the widest point of the stone, the second is the overall height including the brass. Slab outlines vary, so treat both as within about half an inch.
Rule of thumb	A sconce should sit at roughly a quarter to a third of the height of the wall it is on. On an 8 ft wall that is the 15″ to 22″ range; a stairwell takes the two largest.
Mounting height	Centre of the fixture at 60–66″ off the floor for a hallway or mirror, 50–56″ beside a bed. For the two largest sizes, hang by eye rather than by rule — they read better slightly higher.
Buying a pair	Choose the size marked (×2). Both slabs are then selected together, and the set is priced below two singles.

Slabs are pulled from the block one at a time and set aside by hand, so the piece that reaches you was picked rather than produced. On the stacked sizes, the slabs are also chosen against each other, so the layers agree in tone.

Tell us a direction before the order goes into production and we can steer it. We can also photograph the actual stone before it ships.

Unlit, it is pale stone and brass on the wall. Lit, the light finds the thin places in the slab and leaves the thick ones dark.

Unlit in a real room, mid-afternoon. The two studio views above were shot at a different angle.

By day	Cool white stone with grey and amber movement, held in warm brass. This is the state it spends most of its hours in.
Switched on	Light passes through the thin sections and stops at the thick ones, so the slab lights unevenly on purpose — bands rather than a flat panel.
What it lights	Accent light. It lifts a wall and a corner; it is not meant to light a whole room, so pair it with a lamp where you read.
Colour	Warm white as standard. Ask before ordering if you need a different temperature — cool white flattens the stone.

Going with one	Beside a door, above a side table, or off-centre on a short wall. Pick a size at a quarter to a third of the wall height.
Going with two	Choose the size marked (×2) rather than adding two singles — the set is priced lower and both slabs are picked from stone selected at the same time.
Hanging a pair	Both junction boxes at exactly the same height, 36–42″ apart over a bed. Buy the second piece months later and the two will not agree.
Scale on a feature wall	On a sofa backdrop or a stair wall, go one size up from what looks right on paper — distance eats the detail in the stone.

Two pieces of quarried stone will never be identical — ordered together, they at least come from the same family.

The Design

Something Growing
Out of Broken Rock

The starting point was a plant forcing its way through a split rock face — the moment where something soft gets the better of something hard. That is why the brass is drawn as a vine rather than a bracket: it wraps the slab, follows the break, and stops where the stone stops.

Nothing about the stone is corrected. The edge stays broken, the thickness stays uneven, and the light does what it likes inside it. What was chaotic in the quarry reads as calm on a wall.

1. Return Period and Product Condition

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

All returned items must meet the following requirements:

• Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

• Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

• Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

Exceptions – Cannot Be Returned:

• Customized, modified, or special-order items (including products marked “Custom Invoice,” “Made to Order,” or “Final Sale”).

• Items not in their original condition or packaging (used or altered).

• Returns caused by misunderstanding the product listing.

2. Eligible for Returns/Exchanges

Customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement in the following cases:

1. The product is damaged due to quality issues or transportation.
   

2. Any item returned to sender undelivered.

3. Any item not delivered within 90 days.

For all eligible returns, we bear all costs and guarantee 100% return/refund or free replacement.

3. Not Eligible for Return/Exchange

Certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges:

1. Products that do not qualify for the 30-day return policy.
   

2. Bespoke, custom, or special-ordered products.

3. Products not in original condition or packaging.

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is initiated due to the customer’s personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The exact fee depends on the chosen courier service. Customer-related reasons include:

• The customer feels the product does not meet their expectations;

• The customer finds the size too small or too large;

• The customer believes the color does not match expectations;

• The customer wants to return the product for personal reasons (e.g., changed mind or no longer needs the item);

• The customer ordered the wrong item or quantity;

• The customer did not carefully read the product description and is surprised by the product’s features or specifications.

5. Return & Exchange Process

Before returning any items (within 30 days), please contact our customer service team. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Before sending your package, you must contact Hoailamp via email to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Items sent without authorization may not be processed.

• Take photos of the product and packaging before shipping to show it is in original condition.

• Include order confirmation, all original accessories, and packaging.

Step 4: Refund or Exchange Processing

• Refunds:

  We will refund to your payment account after returned once the refund approved. Keep in mind that it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue your refund. 

  If you paid with a credit or debit card, we will refund your money to the same card once we receive your return. Refunds will take 5-7 business days.

  If you paid with PayPal, we will refund your money to your PayPal account once we receive your return. Refunds will take approximately 1-3 business days.

• Exchanges: We will process your return within 3–5 business days after receiving the returned item, and ship the replacement once the inspection is completed.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

EU customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days without justification. The item must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

• Order Cancellation: Within 24 hours of confirmation, free of charge.

• Custom Items: Cannot be canceled.

• Non-Custom Items:
