The Aurelia Handcrafted Wave Ribbon Glass Ceiling Light layers dozens of hand-cast, ribbon-wave glass panels into a sculptural two-tier drum that scatters light like sunlight on water. Three Sizes, Three Different Rooms

These are not three versions of the same fixture. The bulb count triples between the smallest and the largest, so they differ in output as much as in diameter. Getting this choice right matters more here than the finish does.

Sizing to the Room	Add the room's length and width in feet and read that number as inches — a 12 × 14 ft room lands around 26″, so the 23.6″ suits it. Ceiling height matters as much as floor area: below 9 ft, size down.
Sizing to a Table	Over a dining table, ignore the room and size to the table. The fixture should be roughly half to two-thirds the width of the tabletop and never wider than the table itself.
Headroom in a Walkway	In an entry or hallway where people pass underneath, leave at least 7 ft of clear height below the lowest point. All three sizes are semi-flush, so this is rarely a problem — even the largest projects only 13″ from the ceiling.
Bulbs and Circuit Load	Bulbs are sold separately: 6, 9 or 18 E14 lamps depending on size, 60W maximum each. We strongly recommend LED. Eighteen incandescent bulbs at 60W would draw over 1,000W from one fixture — enough to trip a shared household circuit. The same eighteen in LED draw around a tenth of that and run far cooler next to the glass.

Before you order: measure your ceiling height, and check what the junction box is fixed to. This is a hardwired glass fixture and the 35.4″ is substantially heavier than the other two — a box mounted to a joist is fine, one held only by drywall is not. If you are unsure, ask the electrician who will install it before choosing a size rather than after it arrives.

Transparent ribbons let the source through almost undiminished, so the fixture sparkles at the edges and throws rippling reflections onto the ceiling around it. Pair it with the gold frame for a warm, classic read, or with black for a sharper contrast against a pale ceiling. The one to choose for a dining table you eat at or an entry you pass through.

Smoked ribbons hold some of the light back and warm what passes through into an amber wash, so the same fixture reads lower and moodier than the transparent version at identical bulb count. Gold keeps it warm and glowing; black takes it darker and more graphic. Best over a breakfast nook, a banquette, or a lounge you use in the evening.

Installation — hardwired, licensed electrician recommended

1. Switch the power off at the breaker, not just at the wall switch.
2. Check the ceiling junction box is rated for the weight of the size you ordered and is fixed to a joist, not to drywall alone.
3. Secure the canopy to the box, then connect the wiring — black to live, white to neutral, green or bare to ground.
4. Lift the frame flush to the ceiling and fasten it.
5. Hand-set each cast-glass ribbon onto the frame. Handle these one at a time and support each panel until it seats — the edges chip if they knock together.
6. Fit the E14 bulbs — 6, 9 or 18 depending on size, 60W maximum each, sold separately. LED is strongly recommended, particularly on the 18-lamp size. 2700–3000K warm white is what our photography uses; a cool bulb turns the transparent glass clinical and flattens the smoked grey.

For indoor dry locations only — IP20, not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

All returned items must meet the following requirements:

• Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

• Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

• Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

Exceptions – Cannot Be Returned:

• Customized, modified, or special-order items (including products marked “Custom Invoice,” “Made to Order,” or “Final Sale”).

• Items not in their original condition or packaging (used or altered).

• Returns caused by misunderstanding the product listing.

2. Eligible for Returns/Exchanges

Customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement in the following cases:

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

• The customer believes the color does not match expectations;

• The customer wants to return the product for personal reasons (e.g., changed mind or no longer needs the item);
