Absolutely gorgeous organic modern piece. One tip: alabaster is a porous stone, so never use harsh chemical glass cleaners on it. Just wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth to keep it looking pristine.

Looks incredible over our kitchen island and looks way more expensive than it is. Adjusting the suspension wires to make the oval ring hang perfectly level took my electrician quite a bit of tweaking, though.

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.
All returned items must meet the following requirements:

Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

A globe of natural alabaster hangs beneath a single tall loop of matte black metal, like a moon on a pendant chain, finished with a small brass collar on the cord. It is about as simple as a pendant can be, and that is the point: two shapes, two materials, and a soft glow where they meet.
Lit, the stone turns from white to warm amber and its grey veins appear, while the black loop above it stays crisp and graphic. Hang one beside a bed, or line several up over an island for a quiet, graphic rhythm.

A sketch, made solid.
Most pendants start with a shade. This one started with a single pencil line: a long oval with a circle hanging from it, like a charm on a necklace, the kind of shape you doodle without thinking.
We kept it that simple. The line became a tall loop of matte black metal, and the circle became a globe of natural alabaster, the softest-glowing stone we know. Nothing is added that the sketch did not need.
The contrast does the rest. Black against white, line against volume, hard metal against stone that glows from within. In a busy room it reads as calm; in a quiet one it reads as sculpture.

The oval is flat, so it looks different from wherever you stand. Choose a view to see how the line and the stone play together.
Front: an open loop
Face on, the loop reads as a tall open oval above the glowing stone, like a charm hanging from a link. This is the view from across a dining table or down a hallway.

A stone sphere, turned by hand.
A sphere is the hardest shape to carve from stone. Most of the work on every globe is done by hand.
Chosen at the block
Raw alabaster is selected for sound stone with no cracks through the piece each globe will come from.
Turned round
The block is cut to a rough cube, then turned on the lathe and checked by hand until it is a true sphere.
Hollowed from within
The centre is carved out until the walls are thin enough for light to pass, which is where the glow comes from.
Polished and fitted
The globe is polished to a satin face, fitted beneath its black loop and lit to check the glow.
Small natural marks and changes in tone are part of real alabaster, not flaws.
We can steer the stone. We cannot copy it.
Alabaster is quarried, not manufactured, so your globe will differ from every photograph here. Tell us the direction you like and we will hand-select the stone before it is fitted.
