The Halden Chrome Branch Table Lamp sets a cast metal column that forks like a bare branch on a round chrome-finished disc, topped by a straight-sided black fabric drum shade. The plating follows every ridge and hollow of the casting rather than smoothing them away, so the base reads as a small sculpture first and a lamp second.

It suits a nightstand, a console behind the sofa, or the corner of a living-room side table — anywhere a sculptural table lamp has to hold its own next to books, frames, and a phone. The shade's pale interior lining turns a single E27 bulb into a warm, even wash directed down onto the surface below, while the black outer face keeps glare contained and the room calm. A push-button switch sits inline on the cord within reach of the tabletop, and the lamp plugs into any standard US outlet with no wiring required; fit a dimmable bulb and a compatible plug-in dimmer if you want to vary the level. A Full-Size Shade on a Nightstand Footprint

The shade is wide enough to throw a real pool of light, but the branch tapers to a base that takes up far less of the table than the shade suggests.

24.4″ overall height Tall enough to read under from a bed or an armchair. On a standard 24–26″ nightstand the lower edge of the shade lands close to seated eye level.

11″ shade diameter The widest point of the lamp. Leave roughly a foot of clear width so the shade is not pressed against a wall or a headboard on either side.

24–26″ table height it suits Set it on a lower surface and the light falls short of a book; set it much higher and you start seeing the bulb from a seated position.

Where to Set It	A nightstand, an entry console, or the corner of a side table. Allow about 12″ × 12″ of clear surface and run the cord off the back edge where nothing will drag on it.
Which Way to Face It	The branch is not symmetrical, so the fork reads differently from each side. Turn the base a quarter at a time and stop where the two legs open toward you rather than lining up flat.
Setup	Plug-in with a standard US two-prong plug — no wiring needed. Fit one E27 bulb, max 40W; the push-button switch sits inline on the cord within reach of the tabletop. Bulb not included; a warm white around 2700K suits the pale lining best.

One thing to check: the base is a flat disc, so it wants a level surface — on a runner, a coaster or a stack of books it can rock. And because the stem is cast with an intentional lean, the shade can look slightly off-axis at first; rotate it on the socket until the lower edge reads parallel to the tabletop.

Off and On

A Dark Shade Is Not a Dim Lamp

Black fabric reads heavy in a photograph, so it is worth seeing both states. The shade is open at the top and the bottom — what the dark outer face does is aim the light rather than hold it back.

Unlit A Silhouette on the Table Switched off, the black drum sits as a solid dark cylinder and the branch reads as the piece you actually look at. This is how the lamp spends most of the day, which is why the base was worth casting properly.

Lit Warm Light, Kept Where You Want It The pale lining warms the light and sends it down onto the tabletop, with a softer wash rising to the wall behind. The dark outer face keeps the brightness out of your eyes from across the room.

How Far the Light Reaches	The 11″ shade drops a pool wide enough to cover a nightstand or the reading half of a desk. It lights the surface and the seat beside it rather than the whole room — pair it with a ceiling fixture if the room has no other source.
Choosing the Bulb	One E27, max 40W, bulb not included. A warm white around 2700K matches the tone in the photograph; a cooler bulb will make the lining read grey rather than golden.
If You Want It Lower	The lamp itself has a push-button switch, not a dimmer. Fit a dimmable E27 and a compatible plug-in dimmer if you want to bring the level down for late evenings.

The Story

Where the Branch Came From

A branch has no reason to be symmetrical. It grows toward whatever light it can reach. That is the awkward thing a lamp stem usually refuses to do. A turned column is centered and even because a lathe can only make it that way, and the eye stops noticing it within a week. We wanted the opposite: a stem that leans, forks off-center, and lands on two legs of slightly different length — so the fixture keeps giving you something to look at long after the novelty of a new lamp has worn off. The compromise sits in the finish. Left raw, a cast branch reads as garden ornament; polished to a mirror, it loses every trace of how it was made. Chrome laid straight over the unsanded casting holds both — a bright, hard, modern surface with all the ridges and hollows of the mold still legible underneath.

Design Note The Fork Sits Low Splitting near the base keeps the mass down where it steadies the lamp, and leaves the upper stem clean under the shade.

Design Note A Plain Drum on Purpose Straight sides and no trim. The shade was drawn to stay quiet so the base is the only thing in the room asking for attention.

Design Note Black Over Chrome A dark shade over a bright base gives the lamp a hard top edge, so the silhouette holds up against a pale wall instead of washing out.

1. Return Period and Product Condition

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

All returned items must meet the following requirements:

• Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

• Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

• Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

Exceptions – Cannot Be Returned:

• Customized, modified, or special-order items (including products marked “Custom Invoice,” “Made to Order,” or “Final Sale”).

• Items not in their original condition or packaging (used or altered).

• Returns caused by misunderstanding the product listing.

2. Eligible for Returns/Exchanges

Customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement in the following cases:

1. The product is damaged due to quality issues or transportation.
   

2. Any item returned to sender undelivered.

3. Any item not delivered within 90 days.

For all eligible returns, we bear all costs and guarantee 100% return/refund or free replacement.

3. Not Eligible for Return/Exchange

Certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges:

1. Products that do not qualify for the 30-day return policy.
   

2. Bespoke, custom, or special-ordered products.

3. Products not in original condition or packaging.

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is initiated due to the customer’s personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The exact fee depends on the chosen courier service. Customer-related reasons include:

• The customer feels the product does not meet their expectations;

• The customer finds the size too small or too large;

• The customer believes the color does not match expectations;

• The customer wants to return the product for personal reasons (e.g., changed mind or no longer needs the item);

• The customer ordered the wrong item or quantity;

• The customer did not carefully read the product description and is surprised by the product’s features or specifications.

5. Return & Exchange Process

Before returning any items (within 30 days), please contact our customer service team. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Step 2: Wait for Authorization

Before sending your package, you must contact Hoailamp via email to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Items sent without authorization may not be processed.

Step 3: Package & Ship

• Take photos of the product and packaging before shipping to show it is in original condition.

• Include order confirmation, all original accessories, and packaging.

• Email us the tracking number after shipping.

Step 4: Refund or Exchange Processing

• Refunds:

  We will refund to your payment account after returned once the refund approved. Keep in mind that it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue your refund. 

  If you paid with a credit or debit card, we will refund your money to the same card once we receive your return. Refunds will take 5-7 business days.

  If you paid with PayPal, we will refund your money to your PayPal account once we receive your return. Refunds will take approximately 1-3 business days.

• Exchanges: We will process your return within 3–5 business days after receiving the returned item, and ship the replacement once the inspection is completed.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

EU customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days without justification. The item must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

• Order Cancellation: Within 24 hours of confirmation, free of charge.

• Custom Items: Cannot be canceled.

• Non-Custom Items:

  • Cancel within 24 hours of placing the order, no cost.

  • Cancel after 24 hours but before shipment, $50 handling fee.
