The Bryony Frosted Glass Branch Wall Sconce is a cast branch growing out of a small round backplate, each twig ending in a piece of rough-hewn glass. Nothing is symmetrical — the branches fork at uneven intervals, some reaching up, one turning down below the plate.

The glass keeps its broken, faceted surface rather than being polished smooth, so it catches and throws light in fragments the way ice does. Unlit, the pieces read as clear stones caught in the branches.

A sculptural wall sconce for a wall with nothing else on it — an entry, a stairwell, above a console, or flanking a bed. Wide spread, shallow projection, so it fills the wall without crowding a walkway.

Overall — 20″ × 23.6″	Nearly 2 ft across and 2 ft tall — this is not an accent light. It occupies the wall the way a medium framed picture would, which is why it works best where there is nothing else competing for attention.
Projection — 11.8″	The branches reach just under a foot out from the wall — considerably deeper than a flush sconce. Keep it off a narrow hallway wall where someone could catch a shoulder; on an open foyer wall, a stair landing or above a fireplace it has the room it needs.
The Branches	The spread is deliberately uneven — the upper limbs reach wide and high while the main branch continues below the backplate. Allow the full 20″ width of clear wall on both sides rather than centring by eye.
Wall Space Needed	Plan on a clear panel of at least 3 ft wide by 3 ft tall, and a walkway wide enough that the 11.8″ reach is not in the way.
Mounting Height	Centre the backplate about 60–66″ from the floor. Above a console or a fireplace, allow 8–12″ between the top of the furniture and the lowest branch. Mounted as a pair, space them at least 4 ft apart so the branches do not overlap.
Installation	Hardwired to a standard wall junction box — we recommend a licensed electrician. Confirm the box is securely anchored before mounting, and lift the fixture by the cast branches rather than the glass.

Tip: because the branches are asymmetrical, this sconce reads best as a single piece rather than as a matched pair — two mounted close together will look like one shape repeated. If you do want two, put them on facing walls or at either end of a long room, not flanking the same object.

Most wall fixtures are simply off during daylight. This one is doing something either way — and what changes when you switch it on is not brightness so much as which parts of it come forward.

The Branch Is the Object

Switched off, what you read is the frame: the forks, the taper, the bark cast into the metal. The glass sits quietly among it like clear stones caught in the twigs. On a plaster or microcement wall the shadow of the branches becomes part of the piece.

 

Lit

The Glass Takes Over

Switched on, the order reverses. The faceted glass catches the light and scatters it in fragments, warm pools spread across the wall behind, and the gold picks up an edge wherever the light rakes along a branch.

Worth knowing: not every piece of glass carries a lamp. The lit points are set along the branches by design, and the remaining pieces catch that light from their neighbours — which is why the sconce brightens unevenly rather than as a row of matching bulbs. It reads closer to a branch in low sun than to a conventional fixture.

Everything hangs off a single round backplate over a standard wall junction box. The branches are cast as one piece and spread asymmetrically, reaching 11.8″ out from the wall — check that clearance before choosing a spot.

The first wall guests see, and usually the emptiest. At nearly two feet across it does the work a large framed piece would — and lights the doorway at the same time.

The branches reach up and out, so the fixture reads well above a low piece of furniture without the two shapes colliding.

Leave 8–12″ above the tabletop

 

On a Stair Landing

A landing wall is usually tall and blank, and there is room to stand back from it — which this fixture needs, since the branches come almost a foot off the wall.

Allow 3 ft of clear wall each way

 

Above a Fireplace

Centred over a mantel, the branch shape breaks up the horizontal line of the chimney breast — an alternative to the mirror that usually goes there.

Keep clear of direct heat and soot

Before you install: Hardwired, for indoor dry locations. The branches project 11.8″, so avoid a narrow hallway or anywhere someone could catch a shoulder. Confirm the wall box is securely anchored before mounting, and lift the fixture by the cast branches rather than the glass. We recommend a licensed electrician in accordance with local codes. Because the branches are asymmetrical, decide which way the longest limb should point before the plate is fixed.

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

All returned items must meet the following requirements:

• Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

• Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

• Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

Exceptions – Cannot Be Returned:

• Customized, modified, or special-order items (including products marked “Custom Invoice,” “Made to Order,” or “Final Sale”).

• Items not in their original condition or packaging (used or altered).

• Returns caused by misunderstanding the product listing.

2. Eligible for Returns/Exchanges

Customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement in the following cases:

1. The product is damaged due to quality issues or transportation.
   

2. Any item returned to sender undelivered.

3. Any item not delivered within 90 days.

For all eligible returns, we bear all costs and guarantee 100% return/refund or free replacement.

3. Not Eligible for Return/Exchange

Certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges:

1. Products that do not qualify for the 30-day return policy.
   

2. Bespoke, custom, or special-ordered products.

3. Products not in original condition or packaging.

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is initiated due to the customer’s personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The exact fee depends on the chosen courier service. Customer-related reasons include:

• The customer feels the product does not meet their expectations;

• The customer finds the size too small or too large;

• The customer believes the color does not match expectations;

• The customer wants to return the product for personal reasons (e.g., changed mind or no longer needs the item);

• The customer ordered the wrong item or quantity;

• The customer did not carefully read the product description and is surprised by the product’s features or specifications.

• Take photos of the product and packaging before shipping to show it is in original condition.

Step 4: Refund or Exchange Processing

• Refunds:

  We will refund to your payment account after returned once the refund approved. Keep in mind that it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue your refund. 

  If you paid with a credit or debit card, we will refund your money to the same card once we receive your return. Refunds will take 5-7 business days.

  If you paid with PayPal, we will refund your money to your PayPal account once we receive your return. Refunds will take approximately 1-3 business days.

• Exchanges: We will process your return within 3–5 business days after receiving the returned item, and ship the replacement once the inspection is completed.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

EU customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days without justification. The item must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

• Custom Items: Cannot be canceled.

• Non-Custom Items:
