Description

The Lirelle Ceramic Leaf Branch Chandelier is built on a gold metal branch that curves the way a real one does, with hand-formed white ceramic leaves opening along its length and frosted glass globes glowing between them. Nothing on it is symmetrical. The leaves turn at different angles, the branch waves rather than runs straight, and the globes sit at slightly different points along the arm — which is what keeps a piece this decorative from looking like a mass-produced flower light.

The ceramic is glazed porcelain, not painted resin, so the leaves hold a soft depth of white that reads as material rather than coating. The globes are frosted rather than clear: light comes out diffused and warm, with no visible filament and no glare across a dining table. Available as a round branch chandelier for square rooms and entryways, and as a linear branch chandelier for long dining tables and kitchen islands.

A sculptural piece for dining rooms, kitchen islands, entryways, stairwells and primary bedrooms — it lights the table and reads as an object above it when the room is empty.

Why This One

A Branch, Not a Ring of Bulbs

01

Fired Ceramic, Not Painted Resin

Every leaf is formed and glazed in ceramic, which holds a depth of white that shifts slightly with the light. Moulded resin gives you the same flat surface and the same repeated shape on every single unit.

02

A Line That Refuses to Be Straight

The gold arm waves through the fixture and the leaves and globes fall at uneven intervals along it. That irregularity is deliberate, and it is the difference between something that looks grown and something that looks laid out on a grid.

03

Frosted Globes, No Visible Bulb

The glass is frosted rather than clear, so the source never shows as a hot point. Over a dining table that matters: the light lands soft on faces and glassware instead of throwing a hard reflection back off every surface.

04

Two Shapes for Two Room Types

The round branch fills a square room, an entry or a round table; the linear version runs the length of a dining table or island, where a circle would light the middle and leave both ends dark.

Caring for ceramic and glass: dust the leaves and globes with a dry, soft cloth or a feather duster, supporting each piece from below rather than pushing it sideways on its stem. For fingerprints, a barely damp cloth followed by a dry one — never spray cleaner directly onto the fixture, since liquid running down a branch reaches the socket. Switch the power off at the wall and let the bulbs cool completely before cleaning; G9 bulbs run hot and sit close to the glass.

Find Your Fit

Measure the Table, Not the Room

This fixture spreads sideways rather than hanging deep. Match its width to the surface underneath and the drop takes care of itself.

Round ⌀ 25.6″ · 29.5″ · 35.4″  ×  H 9.8″
Linear L 35.4″  ×  H 6.3″ or 9.8″
Five sizes across two shapes · fixture only, suspension cable adjustable

9.8″

fixture height

Under ten inches deep on every size except the shallow linear. A branch that spreads instead of dropping works over a table without blocking the view across it.

25.6–35.4″

widest dimension

Aim for roughly half to two-thirds the width of the table. The ceramic leaves reach past the frame, so allow a few extra inches beyond the stated size.

30–36″

above a dining table

Measured from the tabletop to the lowest globe. In an open room or an entry, keep at least 7 ft of clearance from the floor so nobody walks into it.

Scale & Proportion

6 Light round shown in a 9 ft room above a standard 30″ dining table

9 ft ceiling H 9.8″ 25 cm ⌀ 29.5″ wide 30–36″ above the table 30″ table 5′6″ / 66″

Round Branch

Size Best For
4 Light
⌀ 25.6″ × H 9.8″
A four-seat round table, a breakfast nook, a study, or a single-storey entry
6 Light
⌀ 29.5″ × H 9.8″
The everyday choice — a six-seat table, a square living room, or a primary bedroom
8 Light
⌀ 35.4″ × H 9.8″
A large dining room, a double-height foyer, or a stairwell seen from two levels

Linear Branch

Size Best For
4 Light
L 35.4″ × H 6.3″
The shallowest version — a kitchen island or a low-ceilinged room where headroom matters
6 Light
L 35.4″ × H 9.8″
The same footprint with more glow and more depth, for higher ceilings and longer tables
A line drawing gives the round branch chandelier in three diameters at the same height.
The linear branch chandelier measured across its length and drop.
Where It Belongs Dining rooms, kitchen islands, entryways, stairwells and primary bedrooms. The round shape suits round or square surfaces; the linear suits long ones. A ring over a long table lights the centre and leaves both ends dim.
Setting the Drop The suspension cable is shortened on site. Over a table or island, leave the lowest globe 30–36″ above the surface; in an open room or an entry, keep 7 ft of floor clearance. For a double-height space that needs a longer drop, tell us before you order.
Installation Hardwired ceiling mount. Fit G9 bulbs — bulbs sold separately, and 2700K warm white is what keeps the ceramic looking white rather than grey. Works with a standard wall switch; for dimming, use dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer.

Before you order: measure the surface you are lighting and your ceiling height, and check both against the tables above. The ceramic leaves reach past the frame on every side, so a fixture that measures right on paper can still sit tight in a narrow room. If you are between two sizes, send us the dimensions and we will tell you which one fits.

Round or Linear

The Table Decides, Not the Room

Same branch, same ceramic leaves, two different jobs. Look at the surface you are lighting: if it is round or square, take the ring; if it runs long in one direction, take the linear.

The round branch chandelier lit above a round wooden dining table in an arched dining room.

Round Branch

For Round and Square Surfaces

The ring throws light out evenly in every direction, so nobody at the table sits in a darker seat than anyone else.

  • Round or square dining tables
  • Entryways and stairwells, seen from all sides
  • Square living rooms and primary bedrooms
  • Reads as a wreath from below, a branch from the side
4 Light ∅ 25.6″ · 6 Light ∅ 29.5″ · 8 Light ∅ 35.4″
The linear version glowing along a classic kitchen island in a French-style kitchen.

Linear Branch

For Long Surfaces

The wave runs the length of the counter, so the light covers end to end instead of pooling in the middle and leaving the ends dim.

  • Kitchen islands and breakfast bars
  • Rectangular dining tables from about 5 ft
  • Long consoles and hallway runs
  • Keeps a low profile in a working kitchen
4 Light L 35.4″ × H 6.3″ · 6 Light L 35.4″ × H 9.8″
Rectangular table Take the linear. A ring over a long table lights the centre and leaves both ends in shadow.
Low ceiling Take the 6.3″ linear. It is the shallowest version and keeps the most headroom over a counter.
Double-height entry Take the 8 Light round. Seen from two levels, the ring holds its shape from above as well as below.
Still unsure Send us the width and length of the surface and the ceiling height, and we will tell you which one fits.

Both shapes use the same ceramic leaves and the same frosted globes — only the frame changes.

Where It Goes

Not Only Over a Table

Most branch chandeliers get put over a dining table and nowhere else. This one carries a room on its own, because the ceramic reads as sculpture whether there is a table under it or not.

The ceramic leaf chandelier glowing above a desk in a quiet study.

Study

Over a Desk

Frosted globes mean no glare bouncing off a screen, and the branch fills the ceiling in a room that would otherwise be all straight lines and shelving.

4 Light round

A gold branch fixture with white porcelain leaves lighting a living room seating area.

Living Room

Above the Seating

Centred over the sofa and coffee table rather than the room, it gives the whole seating area one warm source instead of three separate lamps.

6 or 8 Light round

Frosted globes and glazed leaves lighting an entryway console at the front door.

Entryway

Above a Console

The first thing anyone sees at the door. Hang it high enough to walk under comfortably and let the leaves throw their shadows across the ceiling.

4 Light round or 4 Light linear

Every leaf is set by hand, so the way the branch fills a ceiling shifts slightly from piece to piece.

Lit & Unlit

Two Different Pieces, One Fixture

Switched on, the frosted globes carry the room and the ceramic picks up their warmth. Switched off, it goes back to white porcelain on a gold branch. A ceiling fixture is on for a few hours and looked at all day, so both states have to work.

The linear branch chandelier switched on, its frosted globes glowing warm between white ceramic leaves.

Lit

Warm Globes, Glazed Highlights

Frosted glass hides the bulb completely, so each globe comes out as an even sphere of light. The glaze on the nearest leaves catches that glow and turns faintly gold, while the ones further along the branch stay white.

The same fixture unlit against a concrete wall, showing the porcelain leaves against the brushed gold branch.

Unlit

White Ceramic on Gold

In daylight the contrast carries it: cool white porcelain against a brushed gold branch, each leaf reading clearly as its own shape. This is how the piece looks for most of the day.

Bulb G9 bases, bulbs sold separately. Any standard G9 LED fits.
Colour 2700K warm white is what the photography uses. At 4000K or above the white ceramic turns grey and the gold branch goes flat.
Output 3–4W per globe. Across four to eight globes that is plenty for a dining table without any single one becoming a bright spot.
Use the Same Bulb Fit identical bulbs in every socket. One globe at a different colour temperature is obvious on a fixture with this many of them.
Dimming Fit dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer. Turned low, the globes read as candlelight through the leaves.

Before you blame the fixture: if the light looks white and clinical rather than warm, check the bulbs first. A daylight G9 makes glazed ceramic look grey, and swapping to 2700K costs a few dollars.

Installation

Wire It First, Dress It Last

The order matters on a fixture like this. Get the frame wired, hung and levelled while it is still light and bare, and only then put the ceramic and the glass on it.

01

Cut the Power

Switch the circuit off at the breaker, not only at the wall switch, and confirm it is dead before opening the ceiling box.

02

Mount the Canopy

Fix the bracket to the junction box, connect live, neutral and ground, then seat the canopy flat against the ceiling.

03

Set the Drop and Level

Adjust each suspension cable until the branch hangs level, then trim the excess. A waving frame shows a tilt more than a straight one does.

04

Fit Bulbs, Globes and Leaves

G9 bulbs first, then the frosted globes, then the ceramic leaves. Restore power and check every globe before you step down.

You Need A standard ceiling junction box rated for the weight of the fixture. Canopy, bracket, suspension cables, screws and instructions are in the box.
Two People The larger sizes are wide rather than heavy, but wide is awkward on a ladder. One person supports the frame while the other wires and levels.
Ceiling Height Cables shorten on site. For a stairwell or a double-height foyer, ask about a longer cable before you order rather than after.
Voltage 110V–240V, specified at order. Tell us your market before we ship so the fixture leaves with the right wiring.
Switch & Dimmer Works with a standard wall switch, not included. For dimming, fit dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer — the fixture has no driver of its own.
Handling Carry the fixture by the gold branch, never by a leaf or a globe, and keep the ceramic parts in their packing until the frame is up.

Decide the hanging height before you start: 30–36″ above a dining table or island, and at least 7 ft off the floor anywhere people walk under it. Cutting the cables is the one step you cannot undo, so hold the fixture at the height you want and look at it from a seated position first.

Care & Cleaning

Support It, Don't Push It

Dust is the only routine job. What breaks a fixture like this is not dirt but the cleaning itself — a cloth pushed sideways against a leaf, or a spray that runs down the branch into a socket.

Do

Dust with a feather duster or a dry, soft cloth, cupping each leaf from below.

Switch the power off at the wall and let the bulbs cool completely first.

Work from the centre of the branch outward so dust falls clear of what you have cleaned.

For fingerprints on the globes, a barely damp cloth followed straight away by a dry one.

Support the frame with your free hand whenever you are working on a leaf.

Don’t

Never spray cleaner at the fixture — liquid runs down a branch and reaches the sockets.

No vinegar, alcohol or abrasive pads on the glaze or the gold.

Don’t wipe a leaf sideways; the stems are set at an angle and will bend before they clean.

Don’t unscrew a globe to clean it unless a bulb is being changed anyway.

Never hang or pull anything from the branch, including seasonal decorations.

Ceramic Leaves Glazed and sealed, so dust sits on the surface rather than soaking in. A dry duster every few weeks is enough.
Frosted Globes Frosted glass shows fingerprints more than clear glass does. Handle them by the neck, not the face, when a bulb is being changed.
Gold Branch Dry cloth only. No metal polish — it cuts through the brushed finish and leaves a shiny patch that cannot be blended back.
Changing a Bulb Power off, let it cool, hold the G9 with a cloth, and take the globe off rather than reaching around it. Replace all the bulbs with the same type.
Kitchens Over an island, cooking grease collects on the leaves faster than dust does. Wipe them down every couple of months before the film hardens.

If a leaf or a globe is damaged: both are replaceable parts, so the fixture does not have to come down. Send us a photo and the size you own, and we will send the matching piece.

Questions, Answered

Ceramic Leaf Chandelier FAQ

Round or linear — which one do I need?
Go by the surface underneath, not the room. Round for round or square tables, entries and living rooms; linear for kitchen islands and long rectangular tables, where a ring would light the centre and leave both ends dim.
Are the leaves really ceramic?
Yes — fired and glazed ceramic, not painted resin. Each leaf is set on the branch by hand, so the angles differ slightly from one fixture to the next.
Is a bulb included, and which one should I use?
No — it takes G9 bulbs at roughly 3–4W each and bulbs are not included. Use warm white around 2700K; at 4000K or above the glazed white turns grey and the gold branch goes flat. Fit the same bulb in every socket.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes, with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer. The fixture has no driver of its own, so the dimming depends entirely on the bulbs you buy.
How high should it hang?
30–36″ above a dining table or island, measured to the lowest globe. Anywhere people walk under it, keep the base at least 7 ft off the floor. The suspension cable shortens on site, so set the height before you trim it.
How do I clean it?
Dry duster or soft cloth only, cupping each leaf from below rather than wiping sideways. Never spray cleaner at the fixture — liquid runs down the branch and reaches the sockets. Power off and let the bulbs cool first.

Standard Materials

Standard Materials

  • Brittle plastic or resin molding — artificial, hollow feeling with obvious factory seam lines
  • Cheap painted finish — flat, dull texture that lacks depth and scuffs or chips easily
  • Coarse surface texture — rough, uneven details that collect dust and lose their luster quickly
  • Porous, low-grade material — warps, yellows, and becomes brittle under light bulb heat over time
