The Odile Alabaster Mushroom Table Lamp is cut from natural alabaster in two pieces — a cylindrical base and a tapered shade that rests on top of it. Both are stone, so the whole lamp glows when lit rather than only the shade.

That is what separates it from a mushroom lamp in glass or resin: light rises through the base as well as spreading from the shade, and the veining running through the material only reveals itself once the lamp is on. Unlit, it reads as a small piece of carved stone on the table. It is a compact lamp, sized for a bedside, a console or a stack of books rather than as a room's main light. Sizing tip: Both sizes are as wide as they are tall, so neither one towers over a surface the way a conventional table lamp does — they sit low and read as objects rather than fixtures. Choose the 6.3″ where space is tight or where you want a pair, and the 7.9″ where the lamp is meant to be the thing you notice on the table. The cord runs 59″ from the base.

Most lamps have one appearance and simply get brighter. This one has two. Because the base is the same translucent alabaster as the shade, switching it on lights the whole silhouette from the tabletop up — not just the top half.

Unlit, it reads as quiet white with only the faintest grain visible, and the shape does the work — a low cone resting on a cylinder, both cut from the same block. On a bedside table by day it sits there as an object, not as a light waiting to be turned on.

Warm From the Table Up

Lit, both pieces turn honey-gold and the grain surfaces across the shade. The base glows too, which is what most mushroom lamps cannot do — an opaque stem leaves a dark column under a bright shade. Here the light reaches the surface the lamp is standing on.

The warm tone comes from the bulb. What you see on the right is a warm-white source at around 2700K. Fit cool white at 4000K or above and the same stone turns grey rather than gold — the single most common reason an alabaster lamp disappoints. The bulb is not included, so this choice is yours to make; the socket takes a standard E14 base at roughly 5W.

A single small lamp on one side of a bed leaves the other side dark and the wall unbalanced. A matched pair fixes both at once — and at this scale, two of them still take up less visual space than one full-height table lamp would.

Either Side of the Bed

The obvious pairing, and the reason the small size exists. At 6.3″ across it leaves a nightstand free for a phone, a book and a glass of water — which a conventional bedside lamp does not. Each has its own cord switch, so neither person has to reach across.

Bookending a Console

Two at the ends of a hallway console or a sideboard, with a mirror or artwork centred between them. Because both the base and the shade glow, the pair lights the wall behind as well as the surface below.

Mix the Two Sizes

Both sizes are as wide as they are tall, so a 6.3″ and a 7.9″ sitting together read as a family rather than a mismatch. Useful where one side of a bed has a narrower nightstand, or on a console where you want a deliberate asymmetry.

Two Rooms, One Order

These do not have to sit together. A second one works in a study, a guest room or beside a reading chair — and ordering both at once means they come from stone cut at the same time, which matters more than it sounds.

Ordering two: Each lamp is plug-in with its own cord and switch, so a pair needs two outlets and no wiring. Order them together if you can — alabaster is cut from natural blocks, and two taken from the same batch will sit closer in tone than two ordered months apart. They will still not be identical, and that is the point.

1. Return Period and Product Condition

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

All returned items must meet the following requirements:

• Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

• Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

• Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

Exceptions – Cannot Be Returned:

• Customized, modified, or special-order items (including products marked “Custom Invoice,” “Made to Order,” or “Final Sale”).

• Items not in their original condition or packaging (used or altered).

• Returns caused by misunderstanding the product listing.

2. Eligible for Returns/Exchanges

Customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement in the following cases:

1. The product is damaged due to quality issues or transportation.
   

2. Any item returned to sender undelivered.

3. Any item not delivered within 90 days.

For all eligible returns, we bear all costs and guarantee 100% return/refund or free replacement.

3. Not Eligible for Return/Exchange

Certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges:

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is initiated due to the customer’s personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The exact fee depends on the chosen courier service. Customer-related reasons include:

• The customer feels the product does not meet their expectations;

• The customer finds the size too small or too large;

• The customer believes the color does not match expectations;

• The customer wants to return the product for personal reasons (e.g., changed mind or no longer needs the item);

• The customer ordered the wrong item or quantity;

• The customer did not carefully read the product description and is surprised by the product’s features or specifications.

5. Return & Exchange Process

Before returning any items (within 30 days), please contact our customer service team. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

• Refunds:

  We will refund to your payment account after returned once the refund approved. Keep in mind that it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue your refund. 

  If you paid with a credit or debit card, we will refund your money to the same card once we receive your return. Refunds will take 5-7 business days.

  If you paid with PayPal, we will refund your money to your PayPal account once we receive your return. Refunds will take approximately 1-3 business days.

• Exchanges: We will process your return within 3–5 business days after receiving the returned item, and ship the replacement once the inspection is completed.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

EU customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days without justification. The item must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging, with proof of purchase.
