The Sondriel Round Alabaster Wall Light hangs a lit stone disc from a slim brass stem, the way a pendant hangs from a chain. A brushed brass ring frames a round panel of natural alabaster, and a solid brass cap sits at the centre — so the glow reads as a halo rather than a lamp, with the light escaping around the edge of the cap and out through the stone.

The stem is the unusual part. Most wall sconces sit tight against the plaster; this one drops well below its mounting plate, which lets it fill a tall empty wall the way a piece of art would. Hung beside a bed or a mirror it puts the light at the right height without needing the junction box to be at that height.

Four Feet Tall, Ten Inches Wide

A sconce usually spreads sideways to make an impression. This one goes down instead, filling a tall wall on a footprint no wider than a dinner plate.

51.1″ overall drop Over four feet from the top of the stem to the base of the disc. That length is what lets the fixture carry a tall bare wall on its own.

9.8″ disc diameter Under ten inches across, so it fits the narrow strip of wall beside a bed or a mirror where a wider fixture would crowd the frame.

40–44″ to the disc, off the floor Where the glow should sit beside a bed. Work backwards from there: the junction box lands roughly four feet higher, near the top of the stem.

Where to Hang It	Beside a bed, above an entry console, along a hallway, or flanking a mirror or fireplace. Leave a clear 14″ of wall on either side so the disc reads as an object rather than as something wedged in.
Placing the Junction Box	The backplate sits near the top of the stem, roughly four feet above the disc. Decide where you want the glow first, then measure up — this is the step people get wrong, and moving a box afterwards means patching the wall.
Setup	Hardwired to a standard junction box — a licensed electrician is recommended. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to fit; 110V–240V is specified at order, and it works with a standard wall switch.

One thing to check: hold a tape measure on the wall before you commit. A 51.1″ drop needs the wiring high, and on a short wall the disc can end up sitting behind a headboard or a console. If your box is already fixed at the wrong height, ask us about a shorter stem before ordering.

Alabaster is quarried, not manufactured. The seams in a block were set down long before anyone cut a disc from it, so the piece that reaches you will differ from every photograph on this page — and if you order a pair, the two discs will differ from each other.

That is not a limitation we work around. It is the reason to use stone at all.

A Halo at Night, an Object by Day

Switched on, the light escapes around the brass cap and turns the whole disc into a ring of glow. Switched off, it is a piece of pale stone in a brass frame, hanging on a wall like something you chose rather than something you installed.

Light Comes Out Around the Cap

The brass disc at the centre blocks the source, so the stone glows as a ring rather than a single bright face. The veining shows through the warmth, and the brass rim picks up a line of light at the edge.

Unlit

Pale Stone in a Brass Frame

In daylight the stone reads cool and cloudy against the brushed brass, and the long stem holds it on the wall like a hung object. This is how the piece looks for most of the day.

Light Source	Integrated LED at 2700K warm white. There is no bulb to buy, and no bulb to get wrong.
What You See	Accent light, not task light. It lights the wall around it and the immediate area, so pair it with a reading lamp if you want to read in bed.
No Glare	The brass cap sits between you and the LED, so nothing points into the room. It can hang at eye level in a hallway without ever being uncomfortable to walk past.
Every Disc Differs	Lit is where the stone shows itself. Your veining will not match these photographs, and on a pair the two discs will not match each other.
Dimming	Works with a compatible LED wall dimmer. Turned low, the ring reads as candlelight around the brass rather than as a lamp.

Worth thinking about before you place it: most wall lights are only considered switched on. This one is in view all day, so choose the wall for how the unlit disc sits against it — against pale plaster it reads quiet, against a dark or textured wall the brass ring does the work.

The long stem is what makes this work above furniture. It fills the height between a piece and the ceiling, which is exactly the stretch of wall most rooms leave bare. Three of the four settings below use a pair — two stems set a rhythm that one cannot.

If You Are Hanging a Pair
Both Boxes, One Height	Set the two junction boxes at exactly the same height off the floor. On a fixture with a 45″ drop, half an inch of difference at the box is half an inch of difference at the disc, and it shows.
Matched, Not Mirrored	A pair reads as a pair in tone and character, but alabaster is quarried, not printed. The two discs will never carry the same veining.
Wiring Twice	Two fixtures means two boxes. If an electrician is already running one, adding the second at the same time costs far less than calling them back.
One Switch or Two	Beside a bed, most people put each side on its own switch. Over a console or a mirror, one switch for the pair is usually enough.

Ordering two: set the quantity to 2 above and note “pair” at checkout. We then cut both discs from stone selected together, so tone and veining stay in the same family.

Each disc is cut from a different block of alabaster, so the veining in your room will not match these photographs.

1. Return Period and Product Condition

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

All returned items must meet the following requirements:

• Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

• Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

• Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

Exceptions – Cannot Be Returned:

• Customized, modified, or special-order items (including products marked “Custom Invoice,” “Made to Order,” or “Final Sale”).

• Items not in their original condition or packaging (used or altered).

• Returns caused by misunderstanding the product listing.

2. Eligible for Returns/Exchanges

Customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement in the following cases:

1. The product is damaged due to quality issues or transportation.
   

2. Any item returned to sender undelivered.

3. Any item not delivered within 90 days.

For all eligible returns, we bear all costs and guarantee 100% return/refund or free replacement.

3. Not Eligible for Return/Exchange

Certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges:

1. Products that do not qualify for the 30-day return policy.
   

2. Bespoke, custom, or special-ordered products.

3. Products not in original condition or packaging.

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is initiated due to the customer’s personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The exact fee depends on the chosen courier service. Customer-related reasons include:

• The customer feels the product does not meet their expectations;

• The customer finds the size too small or too large;

• The customer believes the color does not match expectations;

• The customer wants to return the product for personal reasons (e.g., changed mind or no longer needs the item);

• The customer ordered the wrong item or quantity;

• The customer did not carefully read the product description and is surprised by the product’s features or specifications.

5. Return & Exchange Process

Before returning any items (within 30 days), please contact our customer service team. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Step 4: Refund or Exchange Processing

• Refunds:

  We will refund to your payment account after returned once the refund approved. Keep in mind that it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue your refund. 

  If you paid with a credit or debit card, we will refund your money to the same card once we receive your return. Refunds will take 5-7 business days.

  If you paid with PayPal, we will refund your money to your PayPal account once we receive your return. Refunds will take approximately 1-3 business days.

• Exchanges: We will process your return within 3–5 business days after receiving the returned item, and ship the replacement once the inspection is completed.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

EU customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days without justification. The item must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

• Order Cancellation: Within 24 hours of confirmation, free of charge.

• Custom Items: Cannot be canceled.

• Non-Custom Items:

  • Cancel within 24 hours of placing the order, no cost.
