The Fyra Rock Crystal Wall Sconce sets a row of natural rock crystal points along two crossed arcs of brushed gold metal, so the quartz reads like frost growing along a blade. Each crystal is left in its raw form — six-sided, unpolished, and lit from the base — so the light travels up through the stone instead of shining off a shade.

Every point is a piece of natural quartz, which means the clarity, the inclusions and the milky veils inside differ from crystal to crystal and from fixture to fixture. Against the brushed gold, the effect is warm rather than glittery: the integrated LED runs at 3000K, so the quartz glows honey at the base and clears toward the tips.

It is hardwired to a standard wall box and rated for indoor use. A single sconce lights a hallway or a foyer wall; a pair flanks a bed, a mirror or a fireplace. It suits Hollywood Regency, Modern Regency and glam interiors.

Every point on this sconce is a natural quartz crystal, left with the six sides and the blunt tip it grew with. Inside you will find veils, fine fractures and the odd cloudy patch — the marks of stone that formed underground rather than glass pressed in a mould.

No two fixtures carry the same set of crystals, and no two crystals catch the light the same way.

No bulb, no colour to choose: the LED is integrated and fixed at 3000K, which is the temperature the crystal was chosen for. Cooler light makes quartz look grey and hard.

Switch off at the breaker, not just the wall switch.

The Design

Two Blades, One Cluster

Quartz grows in clusters, pointing every way at once. The problem with putting that on a wall is control: left alone it looks like a rock, not a light.

So the crystals are lined up along two thin gold blades that cross at the centre. The metal gives the cluster a direction, the crystals give the metal a texture, and the light runs between them. Nothing is carved or faceted — the only shaping is the arrangement.

The Material

Natural Quartz, Not Cut Crystal Glass

Most “crystal” sconces use moulded glass or acrylic. Here is what changes when the points are mined quartz.

The light Enters at the base of each point and travels up the stone, so the glow is uneven and alive. A flat, even sparkle across moulded facets, the same on every unit.
The surface Natural six-sided faces, blunt tips, veils and fractures inside. Machine facets and mould seams, identical from piece to piece.
Switched off Reads as mineral: cloudy, cool and dense against brushed gold. Reads as glass or plastic waiting to be switched on.
Weight 4 kg or more per sconce — you feel it in the box. Light and hollow; acrylic crystal weighs almost nothing.
Over the years Quartz does not yellow or cloud; it is harder than glass. Acrylic yellows near heat and scratches with dusting.

The short version: a mould can copy the silhouette of a crystal. It cannot copy what grew inside one.

Care & Cleaning

A Soft Brush Between the Points

Do

✓ Switch off at the wall and let the fixture cool first.
✓ Dust between the points with a soft brush, working outward from the arc.
✓ Wipe the brushed gold along the curve, not across it.
✓ Check the backplate screws once a year.

Don’t

✗ No water or cleaner poured over the crystals — liquid runs into the LED channel.
✗ Never spray at the fixture.
✗ No metal polish on the brushed gold; it cuts through the finish.
✗ Don't pull or twist a crystal to straighten it — contact us instead.
Dust between the crystals Dust settles in the gaps rather than on the faces. A soft make-up or paint brush reaches in without moving anything.
Fingerprints on quartz Lift them with a barely damp cloth on the crystal face only, then dry immediately.
No bulb to change The LED is integrated, so there is no routine reason to open the fixture.
A loose or damaged crystal Each point is set individually. Send us a photo and its position and we will sort a replacement.
