The Veyla Tiered Alabaster Chandelier hangs tall slabs of natural alabaster from polished copper rings, each slab pinned at the top and finished at the bottom with a hand-shaped scalloped edge, so the tiers fall like layers of a veil. Light passes through the stone rather than bouncing off it, turning each slab into a soft, clouded glow that carries its own veining.

Every slab is cut from quarried alabaster, so the movement and translucency differ from piece to piece, and the overlapping tiers let the light build where stone sits over stone. The polished copper frame, rings and chain stay slim, keeping the attention on the stone. The 150 cm (59") chain adjusts on site to set the drop.

It comes in two sizes: a 9-light version with two tiers of alabaster for a dining table, bedroom or entry, and a 16-light version with three tiers for a double-height foyer, a living room or a stairwell. Both take E14 candelabra bulbs, sold separately. It suits Hollywood Regency, Parisian classic and organic modern interiors.

Over a dining table	The chandelier should be roughly half to two-thirds the width of the table. The 9-light (23.6″) suits most 6 ft tables; above 7 ft, go to the 16-light.
In a foyer or stairwell	Add the room's length and width in feet — the total is a good diameter in inches. A 12 × 14 ft foyer suits about 26″, which points to the 16-light.
In a bedroom	The 9-light, centred on the bed or the room. Its two tiers keep the drop short enough for an 8–9 ft ceiling.
Ceiling height	The 16-light is 20.5″ of stone before the chain. Under a 9 ft ceiling, it belongs over a table rather than in a walkway.

Where it glows	Brightest where the slabs overlap and around the scalloped hems, softer at the single-thickness tops. The light reads in bands, not as one panel.
What it lights	A warm ambient glow for the whole room. Over a dining table, faces are lit softly rather than from a single hot spot.
Bulb colour	Stay at 2700K–3000K. The bulbs are bought separately, and cool white turns the same stone flat and grey.
Dimming	With dimmable E14 LEDs and a compatible dimmer, turned low it reads almost like candlelight through stone.

Choosing the Room
Over a table	Chandelier width about half to two-thirds of the table. The 9-light for tables around 6 ft, the 16-light past 7 ft.
Two over an island	Divide the island into thirds and hang one at each division line, with at least 30″ of clear air under the hems.
In a bedroom	The 9-light, on a shortened chain. Centre it on the bed so it reads as part of the bed wall, not the ceiling.
Under a beamed ceiling	Hang from a beam or a rated box between beams, and let the 16-light sit below the beam line so the tiers read clearly.

The Design

Something Soft, Cut From Something Hard

The starting point was a veil — layers of fine fabric falling one over another, each hem softer than the last. The question was whether stone could be made to hang the same way.

So each slab is cut long and narrow, pinned at the top rather than set in a frame, and shaped at the bottom by hand into a scalloped edge. Hung in tiers, the slabs overlap like cloth, and the light does the rest: it deepens where stone lies over stone and lifts where it hangs alone.

A single slab is a piece of stone. A chandelier of them is an arrangement. Before the tiers are pinned, the slabs are laid out and ordered so the stronger veining is spread around the ring rather than bunched on one side.

Tell us a direction before the order goes into production, and we can photograph the arranged slabs before they are fitted.

The Material

Quarried Stone, Not Pressed Panels

Tiered chandeliers like this are often made with frosted glass, resin or acrylic panels. Here is what changes when every slab is alabaster.

The short version: a mould can copy the outline of a scalloped panel. It cannot copy the way light moves through sixteen pieces of stone.

Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.

All returned items must meet the following requirements:

• Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

• Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

• Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or proof of purchase.

Exceptions – Cannot Be Returned:

• Customized, modified, or special-order items (including products marked “Custom Invoice,” “Made to Order,” or “Final Sale”).

• Items not in their original condition or packaging (used or altered).

• Returns caused by misunderstanding the product listing.

2. Eligible for Returns/Exchanges

Customers are entitled to a full refund or replacement in the following cases:

1. The product is damaged due to quality issues or transportation.
   

2. Any item returned to sender undelivered.

3. Any item not delivered within 90 days.

For all eligible returns, we bear all costs and guarantee 100% return/refund or free replacement.

3. Not Eligible for Return/Exchange

Certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges:

1. Products that do not qualify for the 30-day return policy.
   

2. Bespoke, custom, or special-ordered products.

3. Products not in original condition or packaging.

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is initiated due to the customer’s personal reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The exact fee depends on the chosen courier service. Customer-related reasons include:

• The customer feels the product does not meet their expectations;

• The customer finds the size too small or too large;

• The customer believes the color does not match expectations;

• The customer wants to return the product for personal reasons (e.g., changed mind or no longer needs the item);

• The customer ordered the wrong item or quantity;

• The customer did not carefully read the product description and is surprised by the product’s features or specifications.

5. Return & Exchange Process

Before returning any items (within 30 days), please contact our customer service team. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Step 2: Wait for Authorization

Before sending your package, you must contact Hoailamp via email to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Items sent without authorization may not be processed.

• Take photos of the product and packaging before shipping to show it is in original condition.

• Include order confirmation, all original accessories, and packaging.

Step 4: Refund or Exchange Processing

• Refunds:

  We will refund to your payment account after returned once the refund approved. Keep in mind that it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue your refund. 

  If you paid with a credit or debit card, we will refund your money to the same card once we receive your return. Refunds will take 5-7 business days.

  If you paid with PayPal, we will refund your money to your PayPal account once we receive your return. Refunds will take approximately 1-3 business days.

• Exchanges: We will process your return within 3–5 business days after receiving the returned item, and ship the replacement once the inspection is completed.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
