The Elowen Brass Branch Ceiling Light stretches a sculpted solid brass bough 55.1″ across the ceiling, its textured, bark-like branches holding leaf-shaped art glass shades flecked with gold. Each art glass leaf is shaped with soft, wavy edges and a fine vein pattern, so the fixture looks like an autumn branch caught in gold.
Lit, the light passes through every leaf and turns the gold flecks warm and luminous, throwing a soft, dappled glow across the ceiling like sun through foliage. Mounted close to the ceiling at just 11.8″ deep, it brings the presence of a chandelier to rooms where a hanging fixture would sit too low: dining rooms, living rooms, primary bedrooms, entry foyers and long hallways. 1. Return Period and Product Condition
Our standard return policy is valid for 30 days from the date you receive your order. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
Important: Items that have been installed, have broken wiring, or loose crystals are not eligible for return.
All returned items must meet the following requirements:

Original Condition: Must be unused, unworn, and include all original tags, labels, and packaging.

Complete Accessories: All accessories, manuals, and included items must be intact. Items requiring assembly must be returned unassembled.

4. Shipping Costs for Customer-Initiated Returns

Elowen Brass Branch Ceiling Light
Dappled light, brought indoors.
Ten gold-flecked glass leaves on a bough of solid brass. Switched on, Elowen does what a tree does at four in the afternoon: it breaks the light into warm, moving patches across the ceiling and the table below.
- A chandelier for low rooms. Built for 8 to 9 ft ceilings, where a hanging fixture would sit in your eyeline.
- Glass that holds the gold. Gold flecks are set into each glass leaf as it is formed, so it glows from inside when lit.
- Finished by hand. Bark texture is chased into the brass, so every bough is slightly different.
Named for the elm, shaped by the light under it.
Elowen is an old Cornish name that means elm. Elms once lined English lanes and village greens, and their high, open crowns let the sun through in shifting coins of light. That was the feeling we set out to make: not a branch on the ceiling, but the light you sit in beneath one.
The Japanese have a word for it, komorebi, sunlight filtering through leaves. We chose art glass in amber tones and set gold into it so each leaf would hold a little of that afternoon sun, then laid the bough flat and close so it could live in ordinary rooms, not only in grand halls.

A tree of lanes and greens, known for its wide, airy crown. It gave the fixture its name and its open, spreading line.

Drawn from a real branch
The line of the bough is drawn from natural branch forms, then balanced so the weight sits evenly on the canopy.
Moulded in sections
The bough, forks and twigs are modelled as separate pieces so each joint can follow a natural angle.
Cast in solid brass
Molten brass fills each mould; the castings are trimmed and fitted together into one bough.
Chased by hand
Small punches work bark ridges into the surface and blend every joint, so no seam shows.
Leaves formed one by one
Amber art glass is shaped into wavy-edged leaves with a centre vein, with gold flecks set into the glass.
Wired, lit and checked
The ten sockets are wired through the branch, every leaf is fitted and the fixture is switched on before packing.
Ten leaves, each formed on its own, so the tone and gold flecking shift slightly from leaf to leaf. It is the mark of handwork, and the reason no two Elowens look exactly alike.

Canopy & mount
A flat brass canopy and a short, rigid stem hold the whole bough just under the ceiling. There is no chain or long rod, which is why the fixture stays at 11.8″ deep and never sways.
The canopy covers a mounting plate fixed to a ceiling box rated for the weight. Before the plate goes up, you choose which way the branch will run, so the bough lines up with your table or hallway.
Brass bough
The main branch is cast in solid brass, then the forks where limbs divide are chased by hand: a craftsman works the joint with small punches until the seam disappears into bark-like ridges.
That is why it feels heavy in the hand and why no two boughs carry the same texture. The gold finish is applied over the worked surface, so the bark pattern catches light along its edges.
Twigs & extensions
Ten slender twigs leave the main bough at different angles and lengths. Each ends in a G4 socket tucked inside a glass leaf, so you see the glow, not the bulb.
Some twigs are joined on as separate extensions, which lets the branch spread to 31.5″ wide without becoming top-heavy. The spacing is set so the leaves overlap a little when viewed from below, like a real crown.
Art glass leaves
Each leaf is formed on its own from amber-toned art glass, with soft wavy edges and a fine vein running down the middle. Flecks of gold are set into the glass as it is formed.
Off, the leaves read as autumn colour against the brass. On, the gold flecks light up from inside and throw small bright points onto the ceiling. Because they are made one at a time, tone and flecking vary slightly from leaf to leaf.
Which way should it run?
